Question 2011 Mercedes R350 bracing Radian

Does anyone know if I can brace a rf Radian RXT behind the driver's seat? I checked the manual, and it says that you can't do it behind the passenger's seat, but it doesn't say anything about the driver's seat. Thanks!

It isn't really "bracing," but it is just barely touching. My 3 year old son's Radian is installed with an angle adjuster behind the passenger's seat, and it doesn't touch the back of the seat at all. We just installed a second Radian for my 7 month old daughter without an angle adjuster behind the driver's seat. It just barely touches the back of the seat when my husband is driving. It does not touch the seat when I am driving.

Ok, so in that case just light touching could maybe be solved by hubby tilting the seat slightly forward. Not moving the whole seat, just the seat back.

Otherwise, I'd call Mercedes and ask if light touching is ok

I'm not sure if that photo makes it clear, but it's the extra stuff stored in the back (tether, safe-stop, etc.) that is touching.
