2008 Subaru Outback - carseat help please!

Hi, I am looking for help in picking out a new carseat for my DH's 2008 Subaru Outback wagon. We have an almost five yr old DS (42" in height and weighs 37 lbs.) and a DS about to turn six months old (28.5 inches and almost 20 lbs). Currently my older DS rides in an older style Boulevard FF behind the driver (my DH is 6'1" and has his seat all the way back) and the baby's seat is a Keyfit22 installed in the center leaving room for me to sit in the rear on the passenger side. We need to get a new seat for the baby soon as he will be outgrowing it by height and weight probably around the same time. The original idea was to pass on the Boulevard and use it until it expires in the summer of 2014 but our older DS is very opposed to getting a new seat so for now the baby will get the new seat and we will get our older son one later.

Any recommendations for a good convertible that can be installed in the center next to the Boulevard and still leave room for a small adult to sit in the rear behind the passenger and also have the front passenger seat be usable? Tall order I know. I love the Outback to drive but it really is not all that carseat friendly. We tried a Radian FF for our older son a few months ago and I really liked how narrow it is but can one be installed RF in the center? Any other narrow seats that would work in the center RF and last a decent amount of time since the baby is tall (>95th percentile on height right now)??? We will keep him rear facing to a minimum of two years of age and likely longer. Also any recommendations on a new seat (harnessed but converts to booster) for my older DS when we can get him to give up his Boulevard, preferably a narrow seat also?

One last question. Where do I find the weight limits for LATCH in a 2008 Outback? I checked the owner's manuel but could not find anything on it. Thank you in advance for any help!

I have a 2005 outback and agree not very carseat friendly. However, I have put a rf radian in the middle with angle adjuster. I'm not sure it would fit next to a ff Blvd though. I used to have a radian and Blvd ff next to each other and the Blvd overlapped the radian to get them to fit. But I also squeezed another rf seat in the other side, a scenera.

That is a tall order indeed. We have a 2008 outback, and I can't imagine (uless you are super skinny, LOL) any seat that would enable a third person to sit back there. There is a small amount of space between the seats (ours are each on the side, not in the middle), but wow. I couldn't imagine sticking my tush in there. If I could squeeze in, it wouldn't be pretty. That's for certain.

Our seats, FWIW, are 1 Radian 65 and (for now) 1 old Marathon.
