Why is it that britax dosent offer sales in Canada? I know there is the one next weekend but its apparently in store only and TO is a little far to go since Im in the l.mainland :p

Its weird though I think thats the 1st actual cdn britax sale Ive seen, I wonder if I should hold off on getting a 2nd carseat to see if one comes up locally:rolleyes: cause that would solve all my confusions with what seat to get:thumbsup:

Now that some of the higher end seats are being sold in more mainstream stores (Britax at TRU for example) we're starting to see more sales. Still, I know what you mean... it seems we don't see the sales that the US folks do.

The sale at dearborn looks pretty good, and I think they're offering free shipping. In terms of what seat you want, have you posted about this? Is there anyway we can help?

I called today and they said the sale was in store only with no phone orders either:( It would have been perfect as they were also having St.johns doing the installs for the sale - We really need a local store to do this it would be perfect!

I called a few local stores which they knew nothing about it and had no plans to offer any sales anytime soon... I did post about getting some help[ putting a seat in DH's car but I think nobody had experience with his car (97 grand prix) we have tried a few seats and for some reason just havent been able to get good fits with both the car and my daughter.

These Britax Day sales have been around the Toronto area and they are for in-store one-day only. And I think these stores have large Britax orders. Not sure if the distributor plans to expand the Britax Day to other provinces or when.

The stores that have its own certified techs (eg. Safety Superstore techs were trained by SJA Mississauga) would install the seats bought from the store on the sale day. We, from SJA Mississauga, only did the walk-ins from non-clients or check existing seats for the store's clients on that day.

The set up at Dearborn is probably because Dearborn does not have its own certified techs on staff so it would use SJA to do the installation and the donation goes to that local SJA branch for things like pool noodles, new seats for teaching purpose, etc.
