If you want to go with a lower capacity convertible car seat, The First Years True Fit has a rear-facing limit of 40 lbs and a forward-facing limit of 65 lbs.

Tell me it's true!

I'm guessing it's just a simple misprint, but a girl can dream, right?

I think it's just a typo. First Years hasn't announced that the TF is going up to 40lbs. Lets cross our fingers that they do change that soon though.

I'm willing to bet that Elitecarseats had a different seat listed there and then changed the link to the TF w/o checking the limits to make sure they were correct.
