Radian 65 discontinued?

I've been MIA for a couple of days and I can't find any threads about this already... Someone told me SK's website has the 65 discontiued. Is this true? I know they weren't goign to have 45lbs RF limits but I'm surprised they'd discontinue them, so people will still need options like the Radian for 3 across and a $220 seat is more affordable than a $300 seat, even if it doesn't RF to 45lbs.

I read that someone got a notice back from Baby Catalog saying the Radian 65 is discontinued. I also noticed that Elite Car Seats is listing them as "out of stock" so that made me wonder if it's true!

I just got one with a aug 09 DOM...so maybe but they just made a batch?

I just read over at carseatblog.com that they are going to make a Radian 65 SL, but it will only rear-face to 40 lbs. No word yet on whether the older non-SL versions will be discontinued, but it sounds like they might be.

When I ordered from babycatalog, they said the champagne color was discontinued.

I don't think granite is discontinued though....

The 65 will probably be discontinued and replaced with the 65sl

Thanks! I did notice how it seems like the SL's are going to replace the current models. The girl that asked me had seen online that some 65's were discontinued (probabley the champagne ones) and thought they all were.
