I finally decided that the infant insert had to come out. DD is still well within the weight range for it, but her torso is so dang long that the straps were practically coming from her waist.

I put the pink harness covers back on, but now it just looks like a boring brown seat with aftermarket pink strap covers.

Hopefully the pink seat with brown harness pads will look cuter. Will try it tomorrow when the other car is here.

That insert is soooo thick! Olivia has been even w/ the 2nd slots w/ it since 5 wks but is just now hitting 15# to go w/out it (not that we own one, lol).

Ok, it's cute again once I put DD in it. :love: I'm still swapping out the brown one for the pink one, though. I don't think DH wants a pink seat in his car anyway.

But yeah, that insert is huge. It's like a completely different seat now.

Uh, there was a weight limit? Oops.

I never used it, it was too bulky and he was too tall. I would have LOVED to use it, it's so fabulous. But he was plain too big. I'm not sure if he was actually 15 pounds, though. :eek:
