The d-ring for tethering rf'ing is pretty short, at least with mine. It doesn't fit around the leg from the front seat that's bolted into the frame, and that's the only tether spot I have. Is it ok to put the actual tether through the loop then hook it to the metal ring? It pulls the metal ring to the loop, but it's too short for the metal ring to actually go through the loop.

If I understand what you're asking correctly you want to thread the tether through the D-ring webbing and hook to the metal? I'm just not confident saying yes to this. The best I could suggest to you would be to call Sunshine Kids and ask.

Yes, that's what I'm asking. I don't have anywhere that the d-ring will go around and allow enough length for the metal to go through the loop.
