The U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is alerting the public, school officials, facilities managers, and municipal and public safety officials that outdoor steel stadium light poles manufactured by Whitco Co. LP, of Fort Worth, Texas can fracture or crack and fall over, posing a risk of serious injury and death to patrons and bystanders from being hit or crushed. The poles can be found at facilities such as recreational parks and fields, schools, and outdoor stadiums.

Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, Inc., has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of Accusure® Insulin Syringes (1/2 cc – 31 G – Short Needle) with lot number 6JCB1 (Expiration 10/2011) – NDC 0603-7001-21. This lot was distributed between January 2007 and June 2007 to wholesalers and retail pharmacies nationwide (including Puerto Rico).

Nutracoastal Trading LLC announced today that it is expanding its July 28th, 2009 voluntary nationwide recall of the company's Steam Dietary supplement. The Company has found by lab analysis that Lot 90260 contains Tadalafil, an active ingredient of an FDA-approved drug for erectile dysfunction (ED), making STEAM DIETARY SUPPLEMENT an unapproved drug.

Lone Star Brisket Company, a Thorndale, Texas, establishment, is recalling approximately 207 pounds of smoked beef products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The smoked beef brisket products were produced on Aug. 11, 2009 and distributed to Department of Defense Commissaries in New Mexico and Oklahoma.
