FF MA install, how does this look?

I went out and installed the Marathon rear and forward-facing outboard to see if I could get a good install and I did with both. Rear-facing, it barely even touches the front seat, which really suprised me! Both installs were very solid.

With the FF install though, the base I'm not sure about. My seats are shaped a little funny, so about 95% (at least) of the base was pushing into the seat firmly and one little part on the back, left was just touching. Like I said, it was a very solid install...no movement what-so-ever. Is that okay?

I didn't leave it, of course, I am washing the cover now and will re-install it in the center rear-facing...I just wanted to play around with it and see what would and wouldn't work.

Here are some pics...if you see anything wrong, please let me know! And yes, I know I need to vacuum my car, lol!

Looks good to me too.
But remember, In the FF mode, it has to be used in the full upright position for children over 33 lbs.

It does look like it is recline mode FF in the last 2 pics- maybe it "snapped out" of upright mode when you were installing it?

That's the back of the base you are seeing in the last two...maybe that's why it looks like it's in recline mode.

Now I see it that way! DUH! Of course. My DC's base only has about 80% of it touching seat in the center of the Camry. The back is slightly high for some reason, but it is rock solid tight.

I thought that might have been what you were thinking...I know the pics do look that way...I was going to put it in the description when I first posted, but I decided not too!

Ah yes! I see it now. I couldn't tell which was the front. I see it now that I scrolled up to the top pic with the seat belt and can see where the label is :)
