DD is 6, 45ish pounds, and DD2 is 4.5, about 35 pounds, and both are still in their Regents. No intent to switch any time soon.

DD just turned 9, and is just even with the 2nd-to-top slots on her Husky. She'll use it until it expires in 2011, because it's highly unlikely she'll outgrow it before then, and simply because I don't see any point in buying her a booster when she already has a perfectly good seat that fits her.

I like getting my money's worth out of the seats I buy, and using them until they expire if at all possible. :D

We just bought the Regent in June for my daughter who had just turned four. She will be moving out of it when she outgrows it or her brother (currently 21 months and big, tall, and long-torsoed, and RFing in an AO until our CA arrives) outgrows the Nautilus, whichever comes first. I expect they will both happen sometime around her sixth birthday, or maybe closer to 5 1/2. My son will then be in it until he outgrows it, which will almost certainly be before 6 but hopefully not before 5. Then it will be passed to #3 (due in 2 months), who will use it until it expires (she'll be 5 and 8 months) or earlier if she outgrows it before then. So I expect all 3 will switch sometime between 5 and 6, having outgrown it or very nearly so. If I had smaller children, I probably wouldn't keep them harnessed much longer than that, if at all. But then, if that were the case, I wouldn't have bought the Regent in the first place!

We are also getting a new Parkway (3 new seats in 3 months!) to start booster training my daughter because she has very little time before outgrowing her Nautilus and Radian, and the Regent will not be moving between cars for carpooling or riding with my husband.

So, we told him when he was six he could have a booster in Momma's car.

Same here. Sam is doing pretty well in her part time booster so I think when she turns 6 her birthday present is going to be a Clek Oobr

I am so sick of her Nautilus, nothing wrong with it-- I just hate installing it and I have been getting lazy about it and just buckling the seat belt over her booster style.

She wants the Skurvy one with a skull on it

There's no 10+ option. DD1 used her Husky until she outgrew it just before her 11th birthday. She was 5 ft tall and moved directly to the adult seat belt.

DS will be 10 in two weeks and still fits but I have regulated it to his secondary seat since I bought the Start a couple of months ago. He will continue to use the seat until he outgrows it completely, probably around age 11.

DD2 just moved to a booster full time. She nudged up past 80lbs because she has been sneaking gluten foods. If she drops back down below 80 she will go back into it.

DD is 6yr 4m and still uses her Regent on a daily basis. However, I won't uninstall/reinstall it--if someone else is driving her, I send her high-back TB. Much easie & she does OK in a booster for short trips. She still loves her Regent & always lists it as "my favorite seat." I am thinking maybe at 7 if she wants (and is mature enough, she has poor impulse control so that makes staying in proper position in the booster a challenge for her) I will be fine with her in a booster full-time. I'm just sort of waiting & seeing, she can buckle/unbuckle herself and I don't have to worry about her staying in position & since she doesn't complain, it makes my life easier.:)

Officially (and thus the way I voted) -

Under age 7, to move to a booster when the seat still fit

But, not by much. She'll be *just* shy of 7yo when her Oobr arrives. She's 4'2" and 50lbs, and rides maturely enough that I feel okay about her in a booster. Another motivating factor, dd#2 needs to be moved into her Regent.

I answered other because ds is 6 and still uses his. Not full time, though. He is in it in dh's car, a booster in my car. On long trips, we use the husky so we don't have to worry about sleeping. I can't imagine using it past 7 with him, though, even for long trips, as he's really good in the booster.
