Question Safety 1st Avenue - Geo Squares cover

<sorry if this is a repeat - I can't find my previous posting!>

I'm thinking about getting the Safety 1st Avenue and the place where I am ordering only carries the "Geo Squares" pattern.

This weekend, I picked up an Uptown from walmart.com, but I don't like the material, it looks like it would be really hot (in Texas). So, I'm wondering if anyone has gotten the Avenue "Geo Squares" pattern and could tell me if it stays cool or what kind of material it is. I saw someone's picture on craigslist, the and inner material looks shiny and the outside part of the cover looks velvety.

I'm not stuck on this particular car seat, but many suggested this seat when I was inquiring what seat would fit best in a mustang. We have twins, and it looks like ZERO seats will work RF in a mustang without the driver straddling the steering column. I've also seen some comments this is a good seat for travel...it is definitely very light...I agree. We have girls who are 100% for their length since birth (now 15 months)...so a tall shell is helpful.

Anyway, if anyone can pipe in regarding the cover material - i'd appreciate it!

I don't know if I've seen that particular Avenue IRL or not. I have seen the Avenues at Sears and K-mart. They all are similar to the Scenera fabric. The inner fabric is a smooth, cotton-poly blend (I think). It's not really shiny or anything. The outer fabric is more like felt than velvet. I have yet to see an Avenue that had a fuzzy cover like the Uptown does.

I have oak point. The inside is not fuzzy material. The black part on the outside is fuzzy. The seat takes up a lot of space from to back, so not sure that it will work in your vehicle well anyway. I keep ours in dh's tempo on the passenger side with the seat moved forward. I hear seats that sit up on bases don't take up so much room. Or you could just get sceneras and upgrade when forward facing.
