2009 Grand Caravan seat question

Is it me, or are the 2nd row buckets SUPER steep? I've never had to use a noodle pyramid with my kids' seats, but now in this vehicle I do. I tried the Complete Air out FF just to see how it fits, and it looks pretty reclined because of the vehicle seat.

Is this common with all vans, or is this a Grand Caravan thing? The seats in my Civic are so much more flat.

not sure about other vans but my moms 07 is super steep & the 01 is a lil steep. if you have the seatback all the way up it feels like are folded in 1/2. LOL so you gotta reclien the seat alil bit

for my moms car i had to use a pyramid for the scenera & a noodle for the FPSVD.

Sounds normal then. Hm... that leaves FF seats pretty reclined though, doesn't it? I've never had FF kids, so I'm not used to how it would look in this vehicle. I was a little surprised when I installed one today FF just to see how it would look.

yep it does. tho the seatback can be pretty upright when in most upright position. does your manual say anything as far as if youa re supposed to recline the seatback to use LATCH?. mine says it needs 2 clicks from upright when using LATCH. my kids don't mind the recline at all tho. it can however mess with the harness heights (loss some). might explain why my DD outgrew the FPSVD so early.

I didn't see anything in the vehicle manual about how reclined the seats should be for car seat installations so I just picked what looked right.
