Greetings!

I'm a new kid on the block and I need serious help with purchasing the "right" stroller. I'm looking for a lightweight stroller with easy fold, decent recline for my sweet sweet 6 m/o baby (#5:eek:). I had a Peg Plikomatic with #4 and a Combi city savvy with #3. I recently tested the new Combi Fare and Cosmo (not really impressed, but like the weight), Peg Aria (way too bulky), Maclaren Triumph (smooth ride, kinda out of my $ limit if new, and doesn't recline much)

Found this on CL, not sure which model of Combi ($45)

also bidding on this P3
http://cgi.ebay.com/Peg-Perego-Plik...trkparms=65:12|66:2|39:1|72:1205|293:1|294:50

also found the Combi Flare on sale for $73 and free shipping on Amazon

The PegP3 has a few small tears and I'm waiting to meet up with the seller for viewing; if it's not too bad I think it's a great deal ($50)

Thank you for your time!

I loved my Combi but at about 30 pounds and 33 inches tall my DSS1 out grew it... at 18 months old. It was AWESOME to carry and pick up and manuever... wonderful. But it was skinny and made for a smaller or average size child... he is... uh... not. lol

Thank you all, for the info!
I got a chance to see the CL Combi Savvy today and it is nice and clean.
Only problem now is that I am currently the top bidder on the P3.
I don't know if I should take a leap of faith and purchase the P3 with the few rips or play it safe withe the Combi.
Is the P3 heavy when compared to the Combi Savvy?
Is the 2 year old Savvy better than the new Flare?

I've never seen the others IRL, but I don't think my P3 is heavy at all. I    that stroller, and it's soooooo nice to have the option of a passenger without having to lug around a double :)

Good luck & have fun with your new stroller!!

I love my P3. I don't think it's much heavier than the Saavy, but the P3 is sturdier than the Saavy. I hate the Saavy. I think it feels flimsy and I am so tall that I kick the wheels everytime I pushed it. I really like my P3.

You have not reached the reserve... so you aren't committed to buying it. I wouldn't be too concerned about the P3 rips. I like the peg better then the combi. I would put in a bid of $45 dollars and see if you get a little more $ off it :) Her reserve might be less then the BIN price.
