Can you help me figure out what this is?

It's a little fuzzing on the adjuster. Meh. It seems to give some posters a case of the willies, but I think it's just normal wear and tear.

I'm a little "fuzzy" on the whole fraying thing anyway. When I look at that and what I see on some seats, I see fuzzing, not fraying. If fibers were coming out of their weave, I would call it fraying. I see fuzzing on my TF straps, but it doesn't bother me at all. I can't see how that wouldn't happen.

I know it's hard to photograph stuff like that, but that almost looks like a dried milk spill to me. I haven't noticed any fraying or fuzzing on my seat.

I have the same fuzzing on my Radian (after barely being used), and on my Marathon.

Thanks for all the replies! My husband is an inspector for aircraft and he told me that if the FAA saw something like this on a seat belt on a plane they would pull it out of service.
To the poster that suggested spilled milk, it's not! We don't let the kids drink in the car!

His must not be the standard opinion...almost every airline I've ever flown had fuzzing like that on the seatbelt

We don't think it's just fuzzing. It has fibers coming out of the weave. Brayden's sleeping or I'd get the seat out and take another picture. It's hard to photograph it to show how bad we think it is.
