HBB portion damaged...LBB still ok?

So a few months ago I bought 2 TBs for Grandma to use in her car, with the specification that both girls are to use it as a HBB. The other day she says she needs to talk to me and confesses that she accidentally ran over one of the boosters with her car (it was sitting to the side of her garage and must have tipped over, she ran over it backing out of the garage). It seems that only the HBB portion was damaged and therefore unusable. My question is, do I need to destroy the LBB portion as well? And the thought of buying yet another booster for her -- grrr

Are you 100% confident that the car didn't touch the seat portion of the booster? (I.e, could it have been run over but look ok?)

Seeing as you can pick up a HB TB for about $40, I'd personally replace the seat. I wouldn't be comfortable using it. I'd also prefer my child in a HBB.

Grandma is definitely getting a new HBB, I was just wondering if I could keep the LBB as a spare ;).

Given that you didn't see the accident and can't be 100% sure, I wouldn't. Those armrests do a very important job and even if the plastic is a little compromised, it could cause a big problem.

Thanks for the input, and explanation as to "why" :) Will destroy both pieces today and have already ordered a replacement TB :twocents:
