Simplicity Drop Side Cribs Recalled by Retailers Due to Risk of Death from Suffocation. Sold at: Department stores, children’s stores, and mass merchandisers nationwide from January 2005 through June 2009 for between $150 and $300.

Aqua-Leisure Industries Recalls about 4 Million Inflatable Baby/Toddler Floats Due to Drowning Hazard. Sold at: Juvenile product and mass merchandise retailers nationwide, including Target, Toys “R” Us, Wal-Mart, Dollar General, Kmart, Walgreens, Ace Hardware, and Bed, Bath & Beyond from December 2002 through June 2009 for between $8 and $15.

Ionic Salt Lamps Recalled by LTD Commodities LLC, ABC Distributing and the Lakeside Collection Due to Fire Hazard. Sold by: LTD Commodities, ABC Distributing, and Lakeside Collection catalogs, and on their Web sites from March 2009 through May 2009 for about $12.

BRIDGESTONE AMERICAS TIRE OPERATIONS, LLC (BATO) IS RECALLING 127,183 FIRESTONE FR380 TIRES, SIZE P235/75R15, MANUFACTURED FROM SEPTEMBER 9, 2007 THROUGH JULY 2, 2008. THESE TIRES WERE PRODUCED WITH INSUFFICIENT TREAD BASE GAUGE.

KUMHO TIRE USA IS RECALLING 36,292 KUMHO MOHAVE A/T LIGHT TRUCK ALL TERRAIN TIRES, SIZES LT225/75R16, LT245/75R16, AND LT265/75R16, PRODUCED BETWEEN DECEMBER 7, 2008 AND JUNE 13, 2009. THE VEHICLE'S HANDLING PERFORMANCE BECOMES DIFFICULT WHEN OPERATED UNDER LOADED CONDITIONS OR WHEN CHANGING LANES.

North Coast Seafood is recalling Fresh Tuna Steaks sold in Shaw’s, Star Market and Big Y Stores in New England between June 20th thru June 24th Due to elevated levels of histamine leading to scombroid poisoning.

Stop & Shop Issues A Voluntary Recall of Stop & Shop Non Fat Dry Milk which may have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella bacteria.

CPI Foods, Inc Recalls Non Fat Dry Milk Because of Possible Health Risk. Non Fat Dry Milk packets are components of CPI Foods shelf stable meal kits distributed to various community service companies in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, West Virginia, North Carolina, Nevada, and Kentucky.

NOW Foods Issues Nationwide Voluntary Recall of Whey Protein Concentrate (Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate flavors).

Buffalo SAV, Inc., a Buffalo, N.Y., establishment, is recalling approximately 208,768 pounds of frozen meat and poultry products ("GRANDMA'S perogies" Brand) because they contain an unapproved ingredient, Amaranth Red #2. The frozen meat and poultry products were produced from June 1, 2008, through June 5, 2009, and were sent to distributors and retail establishments in California, Illinois, New York and Pennsylvania.

Traditions, a Pearl, Miss., establishment, is recalling an undetermined amount of various boxed pre-packaged meal kits ("TRADITIONS MEAL SOLUTIONS", "ILSmeals Home Meal Delivery Service"). The boxes contain separate portions of instant nonfat dried milk, which was previously recalled. The pre-packaged meals were distributed nationwide to various food distributors and regional nutrition service providers. These meals were not available for consumer purchase.

JBS Swift Beef Company, a Greeley, Colo., establishment is voluntarily expanding its June 24 recall to include approximately 380,000 pounds of assorted beef primal products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. The beef products were produced on April 21, 2009 and were distributed both nationally and internationally. Kroger has stated that some of their store (Kroger, Food 4 Less, Fry's, Smith's) brand meats came from JBS Swift. Some other grocery retailers are also affected, such as Scarborough, Maine-based Hannaford Supermarkets and Quincy, Mass.-based Stop & Shop. Hannaford is urging customers in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont to check freezers for the recalled beef.
