Just as I said I would, I'm posting my second Subaru Outback thread. My first was about the Radian RF and this will be about the Boulevard/Marathon... I used only the Boulevard but obviously the Marathon would work the same.
I used the lock-offs and didn't mess with locking the vehicle seat belt using its ALR (Automatic Locking Retractor) feature.
Here ya go!
Outboard install
This shows the twisting of the buckle stock (3 FULL twists) to get it low enough to not interfere with the lock-off. I found if you don't get it low enough the latchplate will hold the webbing pieces juuuuust far enough apart that the seat will slowly loosen.
This is the over all recline of the seat (more upright for an older baby) outboard on the driver's side, this does mean the driver should be a bit shorter (my fiance is 6'3") and wouldn't fit with this seat behind him.
Here's the center install, again, 3 full twists of the buckle stock. I couldn't find a place to tether when rear facing in the center position... maybe someone else will post with one...
This shows where to tether rear facing to an out board position and is technically a tethered Radian but I use it most often with the Marathon as it takes up way less room front to back!
Hopefully someone will find this helpful!!
Have a great day everyone!
