Britax Chaperone and Latch in Middle Seat?

Does Britax allow borrowing of LATCH anchors for the middle seat? I'm considering the Chaperone, hopefully it's not too new to know for sure. I have a 2009 Mazda 3 hatchback, car manual allows for borrowing anchors.

Britax allows borrowing as long as the space between the anchors is between 11 and 20 inches, and it's allowed by the vehicle manufacturer.

The Chaperone is so new and coming soon that it's unknown at this point if it has a specific exception to Britax's general policy of allowing borrowing of outboard lower LATCH anchors.

Bumping this thread back up to follow up because the Chaperone's manual is online now at http://www.britaxusa.com/uploads/products/user-guides/41.pdf and we can verify what it says specifically. The online manual states the following about LATCH installs on page 6 of the electronic .pdf file (which would be numbered page 8 if it were a printed, hard copy):

Only use the LATCH system on this infant carrier in a seating position
designated by the vehicle owner’s manual. Refer to your vehicle
owner’s manual or contact the vehicle manufacturer for the maximum
weight rating for their LATCH anchors.
This infant carrier was designed to be used with lower LATCH anchors
in vehicle designated seating positions. The standard vehicle seat
spacing between lower LATCH anchors is 11 inches (27.9 cm).
This infant carrier can be used in a seating position with up to 20
inches (50.8 cm) of space between the LATCH anchors if the vehicle
manufacturer allows.

Borrowing outboard lower LATCH anchors to install in a center position in the vehicle is allowed by Britax if the lower LATCH anchors are spaced between 11 and 20 inches apart and if the vehicle manufacturer also allows it.
