Just got DS1's Regent today! Questions RE: recline

So excited! I met up locally with fouros from this board, who sold me hers! Many thanks to fouros for wading through knee deep french fries in the back seat of the van, and dodging raindrops during multiple thunderstorms to help me install it!!!

It's acutally a pre-advisory Regent, but we installed it WITH the recline bar & short belt path (all new stuff to me!) As a result, DS1 is on the top slots, and he's very reclined. I just want to check that this is totally normal. He's been in a booster for several months now (no....didn't go well.....ADHD) and I guess I'm just used to him being more upright. I actually had to tell him "Lean back, honey!" so I could tighten the harness correctly. I just want to check that this is his new "look" and that I'll get used to it! The booster probably has thrown me off, since I'm used to him sitting upright now.

My dd is quite reclined in the Regent. She'd like it to be more upright. It looks weird to me too. She doesn't really complain. I have an appointment next Friday to have my seats checked by Safekids, so I'll find out more about this then. I can get the seat less reclined, but then I can't get it as tight.

ETA:wanted to add that there is a great picture tutorial somewhere here on install. I think it was done by defrost. I used it and it was great, but my seatbelts are not great for the regent.

thanks! if anyone has that link, I'd be appreciative!

also, please tell me about the Joy of Birth. I'm not sure I know what that is. but i think it has something to do with an epidural ;) and since i'm expecting again in July, a little reminder would be wonderful :D
