Car seat came in the mail today!!

I had ordered a true fit sporty blue from baby catalog on tuesday and it came today (fri). I must say the color of this cover is much tamer than the electric blue it appears to be on all the interenet pics ive seen of it. I love it!! this is a great cover in case anyone is on the fence about it. the fabric is really nice as well as the nice color.
I still have to read the manual but does anyone know right off if I can leave the seat insert in for my toddler or will it make it too bulky and not fit right?

Just curious, what's the DOM?

Also, as I've been told (even though my manual doesn't state it) the insert must be removed at 22 lbs. The head pillow part can stay.

the DOM is 3/31/2009.
and i just read that part about the seat cushion, so i guess that goes right into storage!

It's 2009 or 2008??? If it's 2009 :eek: It looked like people were getting 3/08 seats from baby catalog (including myself).

just re-checked DOM (hard to do after seat is already installed:) and it is 3/09 and it says it expires in 2016
