True Fit harness and tongs

I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem that I am. My true fit harness is folding at the edges when I tighten DD's harness. I straighten them out every single time I buckle her in so they don't get flipped. This has happened more than once and it took me a second to figure out why my strap was twisted when the buckle was the right way! Secondly, my harness is getting a little fuzzy on the edges where it is folding. I don't think this would be such an issue if the tongs didn't have metal though the slots. Any ideas?

Mine fold like that too. I am constantly straightening them out to keep them from twisting. :( I have only had the TF for a month or two so I haven't noticed any fraying but I've been watching for it. Definitely a bummer.

Sorry, I don't really have much advice for ya... perhaps calling LC wouldn't be a bad idea, at least so they can hear about the problem for future reference.

I'm having the same problem. I haven't called LC yet.. but I do plan to in the near future. I, too, have to straighten them out so they aren't twisted before I buckle and even then, when i got to remove the slack from the lap portion they sometimes twist. It's annoying, but no advice here either..

Mine have a slight fold in them, but no fraying has happened and the seat has been in constant use since last June. Since it's been used rf'ing for ds my dh has been having problems with having a buckle flip on him, but I haven't actually had it flip around when I'm the one unbuckling and buckling him. :shrug-shoulders:

I think I wouldn't mind seeing wider buckle tongues, but haven't had massive problems with the current one anyways and definitely no fraying.

I was under the impression that they were like that on purpose, to keep them from sliding all the way down when unbuckled. Mine are a little fuzzy, but not fraying. I didn't think either was really a problem.
