The First Years True Fit OR Cosco Alpha Omega?

I will now most likely buy one of the above on arrival in Canada. As the seat will probably need to move between vehicles quite often can you please advise which is easiest to install? Or if you would recommend one more than the other for any other reason.

Of those 2, definitely the True Fit. The AO (and the other 3-in-1's) aren't spectacular seats & your money will be better spent on a good convertible like the True Fit & then a dedicated booster when the time comes for that. I find that the TF is easier to install as well.

True Fit all the way. Even my DH can install it very well with no guidance at all. The built in lockoffs are great!

Another vote for the True Fit. :)


Of course, that vote only stands if it fits your vehicle and child well and you can use it correctly. :)

Yep. True Fit hands down. Better seat overall and should be easier to install.

Just make sure you do a search on here for the tricks for making the harness easier to use when the seat is installed rear-facing (or just ask). Then you'll be golden.

True Fit all the way....the AO's can be a pain in the rear, especially if you are going to be moving it between cars.
