It finally made it's way to stores here, so I sat him in it in the store. He had a good inch of room to the top slots, so I thought it would be worth a try. Got it all assembled and it installed LIKE A DREAM with the seatbelt but when I sat him in it in the car, he is just over the top slots. Adjusting the recline doesn't seem to make any difference, he is just too tall
. FTR, he is 6y 4m and just around 60lbs - 49" tall, with about 18" torso. He doesn't seem that much bigger than his friends, but when I compare his stats to other kids here, he seems like kind of a giant for a 6yo....I guess I should have known he was too big, but all the room he had in the store had me hopeful We are planning a couple of long driving trips in the near future, and he sat so bad in the parkway on the last trip I really wanted him back in the harness.
