I think I'm ready to buy a booster for full-time use.

Daughter is almost seven, 48" and 51#. She seems to be able to ride properly in a booster, but she knows that if she doesn't, she'll be going back into a harness.

I like the Nautilus better as a harnessed seat than a booster; however, it is an adequate booster and I'll probably keep it as a booster in Dad's car (which she rides in maybe once a month or so). I would like to buy something different for my car.

I think I would like LATCH -- it's not *quite* a dealbreaker but it's close. Can the Clek Oobr be used in the center of a car that doesn't otherwise allow center LATCH? The Monterey can, right?

She's little. According to pixels99, she'll be 11 when she hits 4'9", and I'm fine with an 11yo in a backless booster, so I don't need the tallest seat on the market.

I have one child and no plans for more, so hand-down-ability and three-across are not really factors.

Price is a minor consideration -- I'm not willing to do a Frontier just for the booster or a Recaro Start -- but I can't think of any other booster that I wouldn't be willing to buy.

I'm leaning Monterey. Is there anything I'm missing or should be considering?

if anyone could find it, I'd throw out the Jane Indy plus, but I think you've got it covered.

I'd go with the Monterey.

If you can wait on the Oobr, might be worth the wait just to see if it lives up to expectations. I don't know the answer to the LATCH question, though. If you want to buy now, the Monterey is great. We love ours. My dd is not as big as yours but fits well in it. It positions the belt really well and is super soft and comfy for her.

Rigid LATCH seats will not be able to be installed in the center of a vehicle with non-standard lower anchor spacing.

If you want LATCH in the center, you'll have to go with the Monterey. If you want rigid LATCH, you'll have to find an Indy Plus (good luck), or wait for the Oobr.

If LATCH is not an absolute necessity, consider the Recaro Vivo.

Neither LATCH nor center LATCH are *absolute* necessities, but they are things I would like -- and while I do think highly of the Vivo and (probably) the Oobr, neither of those wins out over center LATCHing.

I'm leaning that way -- I was just wondering if I was missing anything before I whip out the Visa. I might wait until the details on the new Parkway come out on the off chance that it might somehow grow LATCH. This is not an urgent purchase: she still has plenty of room in the Nautis and can booster in them if she needs to.

Yeah, I'm anxiously awaiting the new PW, too. I just hope it's a little taller than the previous PW. I am REALLY hoping they decide to add LATCH attachments, too.
