Me loving the seat wasn't enough. The install was cake, the fabric nice... I can go on and on.
But DD and DH hated the seat. Completely, utterly, hated the seat.
DD cried inconsolably. She could not fall asleep. She was used to the headwings on the Britax. I gave her a pillow. She threw it.
She was so much more comfortable with the extra leg room compared to the Diplomat but she usually falls asleep in the car. Not being able to rest her head caused her to scream before we even got in the car. As soon as we got near the seat, she freaked out even more.
DH didn't like the strap adjustment. I'm sure I would have gotten used to it in time but the consensus was that the Britax better suits my daughter.
So off I go to order a new BLVD.
If your kids aren't accustomed to head wings, I am sure there won't be an issue switching to the True Fit. But I have one of those kids and there was just nothing else I could think of to do
