I just posted a new thread but I forgot... our other car has issues too! my husband got a new truck from work this week. It's a 08 chevy silverado ext cab and the head rest in NOT removable on either outboard seat and my marathon cannot FF b/c I can't get the back of the carseat flush against the truck seat. RF is a problem b/c it touches the seat in front of it and the truck didn't cpome with a manual so I don't know if it's ok. Oh and I can't do the middle seat FF b/c the top of the car seat touches the glass, like really hard is pushed against the back window. Any ideas?? I didn't try rf in the middle but I should have, It's just that the incline is SO off and the seats are so small. I don't know if this post makes any sense. please help if you have any idea. I guess I need pool noodle and try RF middle but then what do I do when FF??

Have you tried raising the head rest up as high as they go? My dd has an '02 Silverado (crew cab) and like your dh the headrest are not removable. I had to raise them up as high as they would go. Then I pulled the MA base out just a bit toward the edge of the seat. This still allowed me to get the back flush but also allowing the headrest to fit into the widest part of the MA shell on the back. Also when installing the seat I didn't push directly down on the MA but instead push the MA back into the vehicle seat back with one knee while the other applied just a little pressure downward into the seat bottom.

If your installing with the vehicle seat belt I was only able to get a solid install in the pass. outboard b/c of the fixed belt stalk. The center & driver belt stalk was to long even with 3 full twists and the way it hit the LATCH bar.
