Quick tips wanted!

You may remember a couple weeks back I posted the options for my 28 month old when she is ready to FF, basically I was planning on the RYSport, BUT when the Dragonfly MA was found online for only $239, I had to get it! I LOVE the Dragonfly cover and was really nervous how old my dd would be when she hit 40 pounds and outgrew the harness of the Sport. ANYWAY... I have never actually installed a MA and was needing some quick tips. It will be installed in a 2000 Gr Caravan, capt chair, RF. Right now I have a Scenera and with the cinching latchplate all I have to do is flip the buckle once to get it rock solid. My main concern is with the lockoff, do I still flip the buckle and do the lockoff or just one and which one? BTW, my van is pre-LATCH. Because of the base difference, does anyone think the MA gives an older child more room to RF than the Scenera?

Install it basically the same way, the MA is *really* simple to install with locking latchlates. If you need to flip the buckle, you may do so. Just make certain the buckle isn't hitting the LATCH bars.

I prefer to flip the buckle now because I know it will stay tight. I think I can go w/o flipping and it holds a seat just fine. So are you saying to use the RF lockoff or not?
