Radian, Generations, Scenera - 3 across

Would these 3 seats work together in the car? Or is the Genrations too wide?

Generations vs. Bolero - What's wider? Is it a lot narrower than the Truefit?
Is the Generations a really good seat, or is it just OK?

ETA: Or would it be worth getting a Marathon? Radian, Marathon and Scenera. How do these fit? I don't need Fronteir as my kids are short and thin, so they'll make full use of whichever car seat they use. And at that point I'll put them into a booster till they're teens+.
The Scenera has 3.5 yrs. to expiration, so I don't have an excuse to dump it yet. I know all about ERF, and I've been following it, but we don't own a car, so for the few times a month my kids are in a car, I'm not going to make sure to RF them until 5. I"ll do what works for the time. Once I own a car and I won't be moving the car seats all the time, I'll RF them longer (whenever that will be!)

Radian, Radian, Scenera
Radian, Generations, Scenera
Radian, Marathon, Scenera

We nee one new seat, and need it soon.

Thanks.

Hi Ana! Have you checked out the three across thread:

http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=33226

FWIW, we have puzzled together a Radian, Scenera and Graco UltraCargo in the back of a Focus wagon. It worked best with the Radian in the middle, RFing though. I think the puzzling is the key. Both the Generations and the Scenera are bulky on the outside, whereas the Radian is very flat and low profile. It is difficult to say, but maybe someone will chime in with that specific combination. As well, as you probably know, there are Radian install issues in some vehicles, and another thread specifically dedicated to successful Radian installs.

Having said that, I would think that purchasing another Radian would be your best bet for achieving an acceptable three across install. The Marathon and TrueFit are both pretty wide, though the Marathon does puzzle with the Radian nicely in some situations. HTH somewhat...

Thanks for the reply. MA and TF are out. Oh well!

Will the Radian, Generations and Scenera work? Or is the Generations a wide seat? Narrower or wider than the Scenera?

My baby is definitely within 1" from the top of the Snugride, so I need to buy a seat this week.

Radian, Radian, Scenera?

Radian, Generations, Scenera?

Money is tight, but if I need to I'll spend on the Radian, since it will last longer.

Thanks, Ana
