How do you pronounce Britax? Is it Brit-ax (as in Brit-ish) OR is it Br-eye-tax. I'm confused. I've always said it as Brit-ax, but when I called their customer service (in the US) they pronounce it as Br-eye-tax.

My friend is 100% positive that it's the first way I menioned, but we're both curious to know for sure. Thanks!!

I used to say Bri-Tax...but have found out by calling them, it's Br-eye-tax. It's hard to switch when you've been calling it the other way for a while now!

Yep, i always used the short i until i heard a friend who had them before me saying it with the long i. Dh said the short I was probably right, but then he called customer service once and heard it with the long i. So I use the long i now, and have heard others saying it that way now, too.

The U.S. Customer Service says it with a long "i", but the British say it more like Bree-tahx, but it isn't quite a long "e" sound. It is hard to write how they say it.

Would that be Bree-Talks? Kinda like detox?! LOL Sorry...it's the only thing I could think of that sounded similar! LOL
