How wide is the radian? ...and more

I looked at the specs on skjp.com and it said 17". But I read here that the base is only 14". So...is it the side wings that bring it to 17"? Is the back behind where it flares out 14" wide?

I have exactly 14" between 2 parkways in my backseat. Behind where the torso wings are on the parkways, there is a little more room. Depending on if and how a radian's sidewings work and how they mesh, it might work, right?

A marathon just fits. I haven't tried yet to see if the boys can buckle their parkways with the marathon - too cold right now. But the extra torso growth in the radian would be nice.

Any boosters narrower than the parkway that still offer good sip?

Thanks:)

The Radian is indeed 14" wide at the base, but 17" wide at the shoulder area. Even if your measurements don't fit exactly, still try a wide combination of seats and positions because sometimes they fit anyway. Just be sure each seat is independently secure before you consider it a good fit. Good luck!
