Page 26 of the January issue of Parents has a brief article titled "Car Smarts for Cold Weather." It mentions taking off baby's snowsuit and using a blanket after the child has been buckled. The accompanying picture shows mom in the process of buckling her RFing ~1 year old. (The straps are way loose, the harness is not even over one shoulder, and I don't see a chest clip even threaded onto the harness, but hey, mom's still in the process of buckling. :confused: about no chest clip though.)

Sounds like the message of the article and the accompanying illustration don't quite fully convey the same info. :eek: Do you happen to know if this article is online where those who don't subscribe to the magazine could possibly see it? Hmm, come to think of it, it wouldn't be the first time a U.S. parenting magazine used a stock photo of a European carseat without a chest clip to illustrate a carseat article.
