Look what I can do! Fitted diaper.

I was starting to realize that some of the covers I am looking at are better suited to a fitted diaper. Rather than spend a load more money on some fitteds, I decided to sacrifice one of my precious prefolds and try and turn it into a fitted. It worked! I don't have a serger, so the edges are zigzag stitched, which isn't as neat but still functional. Here's link to a pic.

I love those kind of diapers, the work great w/ a snappi. Good job! I never made mine b/c I didn't have a serger, but maybe I'll try before the baby is born.

Thanks. It was a spur of the moment, just try it and see sort of thing. I don't have any velcro and no way to do snaps, but I don't think I will bother anyway. Snappi's and pins will work just fine. The true test on the zigzag as apposed to a serger is the washing. We see how it holds up in the wash...lol.

I *heart* fitteds, we're using them as training pants at the moment without a cover, but Joyjoy isn't quite grasping the whole idea that her pants have to come off to use the potty. lol
