The Evenflo Triumph Advance (Wal-Mart, Sears, Toys R Us) or The First Years' True Fit (Zellers (often on sale,) Toys R Us) would be worth a look.

They both have higher top slots and higher weight limits. My own *huge* 3yo still fits in both. (43", 43lbs.) The True Fit has the added benefit of built-in seatbelt lockoffs, which can make seatbelt installations easier. If you've got a bit of time yet, the Graco Nautilus is supposed to be here in January, but it's going to be on the pricier end of things too. It will harness longer than either the EFTA or True Fit.

Can you offer us a few more details? Your daughter's torso height (seated bum to shoulder) and weight? The vehicle(s) you'll need to put this in?

Hope that helps! :)

I believe the Graco Nautilus is due in Canada in March. That would be a good option IMO.

Exactly how tall? & how heavy is the child, too?

The Graco CarGo has ~17" top harness slots & 48# harness limit in Canada ... right? Last I heard it was more cost effective than the other seats mentioned . . . although not as good as a booster later because it doesn't confine the head (but it's easier for travel & tight squeezes)

Evenflo Chase/Vision/Generations all go to 47lbs in Canada and have somewhat high top slots.

Radian and Marathon have even higher top slots and both go to 65lbs FFg in Canada. Of those two, the RN's top slots are higher by at least 1/2".

The only harnessed seat currently available in Canada that is higher than the Radian is the Frontier. The Graco Nautilus is a similar height and if you can wait for it, it should be (on sale) cheaper than the Frontier.
