Does the Diplomat have the rip stitch tether? I remember seeing it on the seat, but it's not in the instruction manual.

How odd.
The prior to 8/12/2008 manual includes info about the ripstitch (energy absorbing) tether on page 26.
The 8/12/2008 to now manual has no info about the ripstitch function of the tether.
The Britax page & demo describe the tether as featuring energy management. I wonder if the newest manual doesn't mention it or if they removed the feature from the DC (which would be weird considering they have it on the new BVCS and all the other seats as far as I can tell). I know for sure that my friend's new MA (DOM 8/08 I believe) has it.

How odd. Thanks, Danielle. I think I found another typo in that manual, or it may have been another Britax manual, that I need to forward onto them. The RA has it, so it doesn't make sense that they would take it away from another 40 lbs. seat.
