they outgrow the Cosco Serena? I decided to get the Britax marathon or decathalon for my car but we are going with a cheaper one for my hubbys car. So, I know the Serena only goes up to 40lbs and 14 1/2 inches, but what would I get after that b/c I would still want her in a 5 point and she would probably still be too small for a booster. What next?

I'd hope that when that time comes, there'd be more options available than there are today!

I'd not worry about that until the time comes. New stuff is coming out all the time, and I'm optimistic that the manufacturers are seeing there is a need for higher limit harnessed seats.

Enjoy being "done" for awhile! ha ha.

I agree I would wait and see what is available at that time. I agree I would get another 5pt harness seat but which one for a young child that probably won't need it for at least 3 more years is unknown right now.

We hope to see a lot more higher weight limit seats in the next few years. Only time will tell. But, My oldest is in a Regent in my dh truck. She just outgrew her Graco CarGo she had in there at almost 5yrs old. She outgrew the Roundabout my almost 3 yr is now using at 4yrs old by height not weight.
