Which type should I get?

Not that I have the money right now, but I'm on the hunt for a good stroller. I really dont even know what type I should get though.

DD is 8 months and DS is 2. Its usually just me and the kids when we go somewhere.

DS always starts off in the stroller but then wants out pretty quick. I usually let him out for a while but then he starts losing his self control  and has to be restrained again.

I am kind of looking at a Phil and Teds with the toddler seat, but I'm just not sure. How sucky is it for the kid in back? That's where DD would ride and she's so passive that I'd feel bad if she was sitting in crapville the whole trip. Can the kid in back see out at all and is the seat comfy?

Does anyone else have any better ideas? My trunk is decent sized but I would prefer something on the smallish side. I would be using it at the mall, pedi's office, park, fair, walks around the neighborhood, etc.

Unless you need the alterrainess of ab e3, I'd probably lean towards a double Maclaren or a Baby Jogger City Series Mini double. Something comfy, that's still lightweight and folds smallish.

But if you need the alterrainess, you could also consider the Valco single with the add-on toddler seat. Baby could ride in the main seat, and ds could sit in the add-on for a while, then get out, and then be put back in. By this time (if your dd is like mine) she'd be ready for a nap and could recline in the main seat and be comfy cozy, while ds chills up front. I really like how the add-on seat sits in relation to a table in the food court in the mall. You can just pull the stroller up to the table and todder can eat. (I saw this recently and thought it quite brilliant).

And the nice thing about the add-on seat is it's very craigslistable when you're done with it.
