Three Across in a Jeep Patriot?

Is this possible? I tried a search of the three across thread, but nothing turned up. Another mom has asked if it's possible, before they buy this vehicle. FWIW, she has a PW, RN, and TF, all ff, but one child is 25lbs, so rf may be a possibility, I don't know.

I just had a 2007 Patriot at a seat check on Saturday. 6yo in a Fisher Price Safe Voyage booster, 18mo in a Graco Safe Seat 1, 4yo in Cosco Alpha Omega. It was tight, and mom plans on a Radian to replace the SS1 in a month or so. The Parkway is wider than the FPSV booster (on narrowest setting) by a couple of inches, but the Radian is narrower than the SS1 by a couple of inches, so going by simply inches, they'd cancel each other out. The TF is a bit wider than the AO, IIRC, so I'd worry a bit about that one fitting.

3 across is possible in almost any vehicle.... if you have the right seats. That combination is promising, but personally, I'd want to try it before buying.

Definitely want to try before buying, I agree. :thumbsup: I shouldn't have been in such a hurry with my first post in this thread.

Going by measurements alone, some seat combos should fit, others shouldn't, but measurements aren't all it's cracked up to be. Sometimes they all hit at the widest points, and it just won't work. Other times they mesh at the perfect spots, and what actually measures wider than the vehicle backseat fits amazingly well.
