Volvo RF tether hook?

Is the hook on the back of the seat track in Volvos a RF tether hook? I think I remember reading that it is but I want to be sure.

Yes it is, but only for Swedish rfing seat tethers. The US seats with tethers at the top of the car seat shell are not compatible with the Volvo WHIPS system. I have confirmed this with a call to Volvo Sweden on several occasions.
