Seat for Gma's Car

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for some advice. I am going to get a carseat for dd for my parents car, but I'm not sure which one to get. I have heard the Cosco Scenara is good, but I don't like that it only goes to 40lbs. I would like something that is good but still not too expensive and that goes up to at least 65lbs.

Or...what do you think about this...if I went with the Scenara and then switched to a Britax Regent when she outgrew that? She's 18 months and probably about 24lbs now. So, we have a ways to go with the weight. I just don't want to have to buy another seat in a year from now.

Is she currently riding forward or rear facing? At her age and weight, it is safer to have her rear facing. That bit of information will help tremendously to recommend a seat for you!

I think the idea of getting a Scenera for now and then switching to a Nautilus or Regent later is a great idea. :thumbsup:

It second that suggestion- get a scenera now- it usually allows you to Rf till at least 2 yo, then once your dd outgrows it FFing (usually around 2.5-3 because they have 36" top slots) go to either a graco nautilus- harnesses to 65 lbs then turns into a high back and low back booster, or a regent- harnesses to 80 lbs.
