Question Carseat for Camaro

My Brother in Law drives a 2001 camaro and likes to take my 2 kids with him to places. I have a 5 year old 33lbs and a 3 year old 28lbs. What carseats would you suggest? They are both in Nautilus right now which do not fit. I was thinking Radians?

Thanks,
Dani:confused:

I'm guessing it has deeply sculpted seats in the back, which is why the Nautilus doesn't fit?

You're right that the Radians have a much better chance of fitting in the seat, but they're also notoriously tricky to install with the seat belt. The belt path on the Radian is very low, so often times the buckle stalk ends up getting in the way.

I'm really not sure. The Radian is definitely the narrowest, but there are seats that have narrow bases even though the seat itself is wider. The issue is whether those would also fit your children. They seem pretty petite, but even though your 5yo is under 40lbs, he may have still outgrown a 40lb-limit-carseat by height.

The Scenera, for example, might fit in the vehicle, but it's quite possible that it's too short for your 5yo. You could also check out the Marathon.

Maybe a technician can chime in on this idea, but what about SafeGuard Gos?

It seems their flexible backs might allow a little more leeway in a weird seat like the Camaros :twocents:

We have a '95 Camaro and we had Graco CarGo Platinums in it at on time. Now it's a full blown race car with only a driver seat so know one is riding in it.

My bestfriend's dh also had a Camaro ('96 convertible) and had a Roundabout in it.
