Because it'll come back to bite me in the end. I'm a cashier, tonight a couple came in with their 4 month old in a carrier. They had really adorable strap covers, which meant that the chest clip was way down at his belly.
I asked if she minded if I told her something about her carseat, and she said she didn't. So I told her that the chest clip couldn't do its job right if it was way down there, and that if they were in an accident, he could possibly slip out. And that you shouldn't use those strap covers.
Her response was "we had no idea"(she wasn't p.o.'d with me either)
Anyway, Im not making a habit of it, I just wanted to share.
