Does your Frontier harness fall off the splitter plate?

Can you get your Frontier harness to fall off the splitter plate?

Has it happened to you either during regular use or were you able to recreate the problem of the harness coming off the splitter plate? Or has it never happened at all and you could not recreate the problem.

I voted no.

I tried loosening each side on it's own over and over again (12 times on each side) and the straps did NOT slip off the splitter plate. I tried it with both the seat installed and uninstalled and it never happened. Also, the straps did NOT fold over in the splitter plate at all. It doesn't seem like a problem with my seat.

Manufacture date is May 16th, 2008 and we've been using the Frontier as my son's primary seat for 3 months now.

It has before, but only when trying to create the problem with the seat in the middle of my living room. It has only ever slipped off when I have loosened the harness as far as it will go with ONE strap only. That is unrealistic though, since I never loosen it that far with just one strap. I generally only loosen and tighten a little bit, and I pull evenly on both straps at the same time when I do. Its never fallen off while in use.

yes...when I went to try the experiment, the strap was already off (don't know how long I had it installed like that) and when I did the experiement I was able to replicate it numerous times

However, the had been sold to a friend of mine so she now owns it and is contacting Britax
