My in-laws who frequently babysit our children are interested in purchasing a 2008 Ford Taurus. It would need to accomodate two convertible car seats for our 4 year old and 3 year old and an infant seat for our newborn. Does anyone know any combination of seats that would fit in the 2008 Taurus?

I did a Safeseat, ffing Radian, and a rfing AO. W/ the Radian it's about possible to do anything in the Taurus. I had a friend and I got their AO next to their Snugride so there would've been enough room on the other side for another seat (it's where their babysitter sat).

I agree... Radians do well in Fords and the Taurus is a nice sized back seat.
I'd make it easy and do two Radians and the infant seat.
Then (assuming it would fit), a Nautilus and two Radians

The '08 Taurus sedan is essentially a renamed Ford 500 sedan. The '08 Taurus X is essentially a renamed Ford Freestyle crossover vehicle. (Dizzying model names, aren't they 
) Previous versions of the Taurus sedan were quite carseat friendly, and the Ford 500 based one is even roomier as I understand it. I think several members here have Ford Freestyles who could chime in if the original poster meant the '08 Taurus X crossover model was being considered.

I've had a Regent in the center with a rfing Scenera on one side and a Graco Safeseat 1 on the other.
