baby k'tan?

I saw one at Target tonight so I splurged- probably because I was intrigued by it on babysteals this morning. I took it out of the package and it looks a little daunting for my uncoordinated self. Anyone have any feedback before I commit to keeping it?

I watched the videos on them this morning after seeing them on Babysteals. I think it looks pretty cool and am tempted after having my sling mishaps where I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. What do you think of it so far?

I think it's pink with brown stitching.

I won't be able to give a full review for about 4 months. After reading through the manual and looking at their site, I think it will be nice to have. before I posted I had just pulled it out to see the two sides with a knot and a separate strip. I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Maybe I'll take it to my playdate tomorrow and have the other moms try it out. They both have tiny babies.

Is there a "baby wearing" shop around you? If you go on their website they list their retailers. Some of them will give "lessons" on how to use etc. I also saw them on babysteals this morning. I'm going to check out the store near me.

One of my brother's friends went there when she was pregnant to get "fitted" for a sling/wrap/moby etc. They walked her through all of the different types, pro/cons etc. Nice to know of a place that will help me with this, being a newbie and all. ;)

Yup, I have one and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's pretty easy really. I'd say easier than a wrap for sure, easier than a mei tai and maybe even a ring sling.
Put both slings around your neck with the little band placed at the back of your neck. Put one sling on like a regular pouch and let the other drop down around your waist. Then you are ready for almost every position.
I do rec. reading the instructions--they are priceless.

Keep it, you are likely to love it.

OH--one note though. They run big. I'm a size 12ish jean, 5' 7'' and I bought a small and sometimes it verges on being too big. I washed it in hot too to try to shrink it a bit.
