Is the Maclaren Techno worth it?

For those of you who have the Maclaren Techno is it worth it? I have an 08 Quest and I was wondering if the sunshade is worth it...I live in FL so its' hot here..I bought a Sun cover from Sasha's and my daughter didn't mind that but it was annoying kind of..then I was also wondering how you guys like Ray Shade or Protect a Bub..thanks! Basically I was thinking of getting rid of my Evenflo Journey and keeping the Quest but also getting the Techno..worth it or not..how's the weight in comparison to the Techno and is the sunshade worth it?
