Hi and welcome. Good to see you here :)

There is talk of having more seats with rf higher than 30 lbs. Most likely to see higher rf limit would probably be Cosco with the newer 3-in-1 seats, Marathon, Sunshine Kids. Not sure about Evenflo and Graco but I can't see them being too far behind since their seats are 35 lbs in the US.

The Graco Comfortsport only has a 30lb rf'ing limit in the US, so I don't think that one will change in Canada. Although I'm sure it doesn't matter any way given that the shell likely isn't tall enough to get many kids even to 30lbs before outgrowing it by height.

I agree with the 3in1 seats being the first to go to 35lbs. I think that Sunshine Kids will follow, and Evenflo and Britax will take up the rear.

I honestly think if Britax was going to change in the near future, they would've taken the time to do it with the BLVD and Diplomat since they were new seats already having to go through CMVSS testing. So I don't think that Britax will do it anytime soon, and unless Evenflo is in contact with TC, I don't think they'll do it anytime soon based on communications I've seen from them. Both companies seem to be extremely cautious when it comes to moving to higher rf'ing limits. I think they want a definitive direction from TC that it's ok to have higher limits before making any changes...

At least if we get the new design of the 3in1's they will be a good option. And with the Radian re-design being due out sometime in the not too distant future, that would be where hopefully the new limits would show up on it, given that we already know SK has been reviewing the limits and CMVSS standards to see if their interpretation was correct.
