Which car seat is best for the Uppababy Vista Stroller?

I have recently bought the Uppababy Vista stroller and it fits either the Graco Snugride or Safeseat or the Peg Perego. Any opinions on the Graco vs. the Peg car seat? The peg adapter looks easier to use, but I've not tried them out with the car seats so I'm not sure....

I've heard the peg is a lot heavier that the graco. I think they both have an SIP system, but is one better (safer) than the other?

For best bang for the $, I'd go with the Graco Safeseat. It has a 30 lb weight limit, so you should at least get a year, if not 2 years, of use out of it. (If your child gets too heavy for you to use it as a carrier anymore, just leave it in the car!) It is also very easy to install in most vehicles. Depending on the pattern, sales, etc... it can be had for $150-180.

The Peg-Pérego Primo Viaggio SIP is ~$300, but only has a 22 lb weight limit. So you if you have a big child, you may ending up using this expensive seat for only 6 months or so.

The Graco Snugride is a more-than-adequate, popular seat with a 22 lb weight limit. If budget is an issue, I'd definitely go with this seat, but really try to get one with EPS foam and a front harness adjuster (strap at baby's toes). But if price is not an issue, I'd spend just a little more for the Graco Safeseat.

I'm not current with the differences of SIP in infant seats & the importance of SIP for infants, so hopefully someone else will chime in on that.
