Question 2004 2-Door Accord question

Hi! I'm new to this website and I have a question that I am truly hoping to get answered. I have 2004 2-Door Accord, and I would like to know how comfortable and convenient it is to have a child seat (front or rear facing) in the back seat. I am concerned not only about the leg room for the passenger (me), but the space to get the child seat in and out of the car through the passenger door.

I am really hoping to avoid buying a new car, with all of the other costs of having our first bundle of love. So, if anyone has any suggestions, opinions, or knowledge of certain car seats that work best for our situation, it is greatly appreciated in advance.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with your vehicle specifically.

I do have a 2-door Golf, though, and we had a rear-facing Britax Marathon in the rear center for a couple of years. It wasn't too terribly difficult; I'd pop the front seat forward and then climb into the back with my baby/toddler and put her in the seat. The Golf's seats fold REALLY forward, though, leaving a lot more room for getting in and out than most 2-door vehicles.

In our car, the Marathon fit just above the sides of the vehicle seats, so we had plenty of leg room. I'm not sure how that would work in your vehicle, of course.

The best idea is to just try it out. If you have a Babies-R-Us near you, they will let you take their floor model carseats out to your car to try them out.
