Which Britax Will Fit into a Subaru Forester?

My Subaru Forester is a station wagon with a smaller back seat. Which Britax convertible seat will fit best? I know I want one that will fit my large 7-month old son through 65 pounds, so that means the Decathlon, marathon or Boulevard. Any recommendations? Thanks so much,
Lindsey

any of those really

I have a BLVD, but they are so similar that if one fits, they all should.

But if you sre planning on installing in the center use the seatbelt, not LATCH.

Any of them really. I've used the Wizard (the old Blvd), and the Marathon. They go in perfectly outboard. The center of a Forester is tricky for an install though.

My sister has an OUtback, which I think is similar? She has installed a Roundabout and Marathon without any problems.

We had an 03 Forester and fit both a Boulevard and a Marathon both rear-facing in the outboard positions without a problem. The seats were pretty upright, probably pretty close to 30 degrees.

I have a friend with the same car and she had a Marathon rear-facing in the center which I helped her install. It was not a difficlut install at all.

Britax bases can usually handle Subaru center humpiness (push down hard during installation), and sometimes actually fit better center so the seat back can go between the driver and passenger seats.

I have a Marathon RF in the back seat of my 2 door Subaru Impreza, so if it will fit in that Subaru which is tiny I know it will fit the Forester! I think they are similar in size! The passenger does not have alot of room right now b/c I have it pretty reclined so he can sleep better, but it will fit! It is completely possible though!

We have a Subaru Impreza as well and have fit a rear-facing Roundabout and Scenera and a forward-facing FPSVD and Boulevard.

I have an '01 Forester (no LATCH) and a RF Marathon fits fine. I couldn't get a good installation in the center because of the long buckle stalks, so I have it outboard behind the passenger. My problem wasn't the hump, since my car barely has one. It's those long buckle stalks really interfere with the installation -- and the center seat belt has two of them.

At 7 months old, you don't necessarily need the full 45-degree recline angle, so that should allow for more room up front. My front passenger seat is in a comfortable position; it's not all the way back, but it's close to it.

how many children have you got?
for 2 kids any seats will fit in.
I have 3, and even 3 Britax seats fit - but these are european modells, which are slitly narrower.
And i love my car :love:

center installation is tricky but can be done it takes a little while, and you have to turn the female part 2-3 times untill it gets short enough.
