I have ERF siggies on the other boards I go to so people can ask me about it if they want to, and on diaperswappers I just got a pm asking for help, I'm not sure what to recomend, has anyone had a tipping problem with a RF Britax? Here is the message I got:

"My LO is almost a year old and very tall. I want him to stay rear facing but have a problem: We have a britax car seat and works well in our main car using the latch system. When we put it rear facing in our second car w/o latch it actually tips over with him in it. When you go around a corner the child lock pulls up casuing it to tip. It did this with the infant seat and the base. We cured it by not using the base. Our only cure for this is forward facing. Do you have any suggestions for me?"

Thanks, I just sent her the link to this thread so she can see the answers.

Is there anything else that would help with that too?
I just thought, what if that happens to my Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe sometime? We use latch but if we had to use it in a car without latch then what?
It doesnt have lockoffs, what would you do then?

I think techs recommend that when you are feeding the belt back in to the retractor, don't over-tighten the belt. (E.g. don't struggle to get those last few clicks when you already have a tight install.)

Or you can use a locking clip. But that wouldn't be fun.

But I'll let a tech set you straight.
